Dr. Krulewski is an honors graduate of Harvard University where he majored in physics and chemistry. He earned his medical degree from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine with full academic scholarship and remained there to serve an internship in pediatrics. His Ph.D. dissertation in the field of human genetics was awarded “Thesis of Unusual Distinction.” His fellowship was by grant from the Hartford Foundation. Eye specialty training was taken at The Jules Stein Eye Institute of U.C.L.A. and included service as chief resident. While at U.C.L.A., Dr. Krulewski also received the Resident Clinical Research Award.
Dr. Krulewski has been an invited lecturer at the National Institutes of Health, The University of California at San Francisco, and Columbia University. His publications span basic sciences and clinical medicine including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Krulewski is Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member in good standing of state and local medical societies. He has been listed in the National Register’s Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals.
Dr. Krulewksi has served as clinical instructor with the Wilmer Eye Institute at John Hopkins University and has been appointed Chief of Ophthalmology at Lancaster General Hospital. He is on quality control review boards for major health care systems and advisory panels for pharmaceutical corporations.
Currently Dr. Krulewsky is the leading ophthalmologist of Eye Physicians of Lancaster, a full-service ophthalmology practice that offers advanced refractive and cataract surgery procedures.
